Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that is a serious health problem. Generally occurs without symptoms, most people do not feel anything even though their blood pressure is far above normal, so hypertension is also called a silent killer. Management of hypertension is to carry out complementary therapy, namely foot soak therapy with warm water which aims to lower blood pressure. The method in writing this Final Scientific Paper for Nurses is in the form of a case study taken during community practice in Bahu Village, Malalayang District, Manado City by carrying out Nursing Care for 3 days. The results obtained after carrying out the intervention showed a decrease in blood pressure during the administration of complementary therapy, namely foot soaking with warm water. There was a decrease in blood pressure after complementary therapy with blood pressure before therapy of 183/100 mmHg and after therapy it became 120/80 mmHg. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of providing foot soak therapy with warm water on reducing blood pressure. It is recommended that families implement complementary therapy interventions by soaking feet in warm water as a non-pharmacological treatment and also assisted by pharmacological drugs obtained from health services.
